‘Tis The Season For Holiday Traditions!
December is finally upon us, which means Christmas season is finally here! We can put away the pumpkins and turkeys used for Thanksgiving decor, and trade them in for bright christmas lights and stockings hung on the mantle.
The Christmas season brings a lot of joy, but it also brings a lot of stress. For students, finals week is looming over all. They can’t exactly celebrate their excitement for the holidays until their last final is turned in. For others, the continuous errand running for things such as presents and food can become exhausting. It feels never ending until after New Years.
But no matter the stress and exhaustion the holiday season can bring, it is always important to remember one thing: the holidays are a time for family and friends. Be happy and celebrate with one another. That is what the holidays are truly about!
Each family has their own holiday traditions, which also makes the holidays a special time for families. Spending a chilly Saturday decorating the front yard with oodles of christmas lights and yard decorations makes your hands cold but your heart warm. Walking into grandma and grandpa’s house on Christmas Eve brings the feelings of joy and happiness to everyone in the house. Having the room fill with laughter and smiles while opening presents with loved ones on Christmas morning makes you want to stay in that moment forever. Each little tradition every family has makes the holiday season a special time for everyone.
Take this time to celebrate the holidays with your family, and take joy in the little moments that make the holidays so wonderful! Here at Ellie, we wish everyone a happy holiday season and we hope everyone enjoys spending this wonderful time with their families.
